Upon return to the office in 2008, the notes were being prepared by the IPA (independent professional auditor). As soon as the village returned to having the State Auditor perform the village's audits, Fiscal Officer Spencer began preparing her own statements again (which is the proper procedure). At first they were only prepared for an audit and therefore covered two years. As more and more reporting has been required, the notes are now prepared annually, to be turned in with the village's Annual Financial Report (AFR).
